Coolsculpting Double Chin Procedure

Zeltiq has developed a specialized hand-piece to treat the chin area. A consultation with a Bella Medspa Coolsculpting technician is first performed to determine if this procedure is right for you. A customized treatment plan is then created based on your goals. For treatment a small hand-piece is placed on your chin for about one hour to freeze the fat in this area.

When heat is removed and the temperature of the fat cell dropped, the fat cells begin to die. Fat cells die at a higher temperature than other tissue allowing the treatment to effect only the fat cells. Zeltiq used this fact to create a procedure that freezes fat cells to treat specific, localized areas of your body.

Once the fat cells are dead, your body will naturally eliminate them. You will start to see results over the next 3 weeks, but you will notice the best results over the next 3 months as your body is still cleansing itself of the unwanted, and unneeded fat.
